About Us

Bezerra de Menezes Food Pantry is an emergency food distribution service of the Bezerra de Menezes Kardecian Spiritist Assn Inc, a not-for-profit educational organization with 501(c)(3) status with the U.S. Internal Revenue Service, founded in 1985 by Benjamin Rodriguez, located in Miami Florida.

The Bezerra de Menezes Food Pantry has been operating since February 2009, serving thosands of families in need of emergency food. As our statement of mission says:

"The Bezerra de Menezes Food Pantry nission is to assist and provide supplemental food to those in need in the Miami-Dade County area."

BM Food Pantry is a member of Feeding South Florida Food Bank and a TEFAP agency for USDA.

Our mission: AmpleHarvest.org diminishes hunger in America by educating and enabling gardeners to donate their excess harvest to the needy in their community instead of allowing it to rot in the garden
